Movies ReDux

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

So Frankenstein, visually a good movie, it’s alright. Guilermo Del Toro’s films are always good viewing.
The one movie I really liked was Roofman with Channing Tatum. Surprising good movie.
One Battle After Another: One my list - but that's a long one

Frankenstein: Well done, but such a familiar tale, it would be hard to surprise me.

Roofman: Entertaining, and supposedly fairly true to life.
Don’t worry about the length of the movie, it doesn’t drag. It’s very entertaining.

I really liked Kirsten Dunst in Roofman.

Agreed about Frankenstein, a bit too familiar.
Hey Trump, I’m ANTIFA.

Not worried about a 3hour+ movie dragging, just finding the time.

I did t make it past the 15 mark of Frankenstein. So done with the whole Marvel Universe and this film seemed like another rendition.

Noted.

I’m on the same page with Marvel.

Was fun for the first while.

The onscreen chemistry between RDJ, Hemsworth, Cheadle, Johansson, and Evans, was great. Renner, Ruffalo, and Sam L, Hiddleston, were welcome supports. Cumberpatch as Dr Strange also great. Ultimately a great mix in all their roles for the massive collaborations of the Avengers movies.

Same with the Guardians crew surrounding Pratt and Zoe.

The “universe” additions that began with Anthony Mackie, and who were eventually tagged to carry it forward after Endgame, were less than.

The should have stopped there and done something else rather than try to carry the threads forward.
