Leves, if you’re picking first overall there is no way you’re passing on McKenna

DeBrusk is the best there is right now and Boston had him glued to the third line where he belongs. Garland and Boeser are the only top six wingers I’d want from those lists. Maybe Lekkerimaki or Ohgren develop into top six wingers? If McKenna is available they jump faster than Benning selecting Hughes. BPA no matter where they pick.
At the end of the day I’m picking McKenna ahead of Stenberg and Lawrence. He has the most potential to be a special player in the NHL. Our Bedard or Celebrini
Both those guys are centers.

Kid is 17...6 foot 4 215 RSD.

He could be 6 6 230 when he hits the league.

1. Nolan
2. Nedved
3. Primeau
4. Ricci
5. Jagr

Is Belchetz this year’s Jagr?

For the record, I'm not saying DON'T take McKenna.....just that it's not a must.

If you evaluate a forward and D man as equal BPAs, I would go with the forward, at this time, for the Canucks. Of course got to see how the rest of their seasons go.

If we don’t learn from our mistakes, how can we make them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?

If the project equally? Maybe.

If it's a RSD vs LW? Nah.....you take the rarity.

Someone had mentioned earlier that the RD prospect (forget his name) could become a Victor Hedman, well, have to admit, I would be very tempted to draft him too.

Just forward is such a need for the Canucks right now. They have a tough choice coming.

I’m specifically speaking talent for talent, not positional. There’s no question that McKenna’s skill set is on par with Bedard and Celebrini, some argue he has more talent. I’m not so worried anymore with his rookie year in Penn State. This WJC in two weeks will give us an idea with all three of McKenna, Verhoeff and Stenberg going to the show

1OA - You draft the kid from Whitehorse.

All. Day Long.

2OA - grab the biggest guy available - big RD sounds pretty amazing.
