Horvat is an elite 2nd Line center. Wish we had him now. We could have traded JT for Hronek, resigned MP40 in the offseaon, and been WAY better off....

Boy needs to earn to keep up with his domestic support payments. Maybe he can make ends meet in Europe or Russia. :sly:

So far this season, he's better than that:

..........................GP.....G......A......+/-.....FO%
Bo Horvat..............27.....16.....11.....10.....57.7

16th in point production amongst centres.

Like the player who inspired my screen name, the-centre-whom-the-Canucks-did-not-want would have been better than most of whom they decided they needed to keep. At least they got something for Horvat, so improvement, I guess.

In his 12th season Horvat is finally producing at 1.0P PPG.....statistically these 27 games would be called an outlier.

Flames can't even tank properly. The sooner they trade Andersson, Coleman and Kadri, the better. Oh well, it is a deep draft, so even if it is a top 5 pick, they will still get a great player.

You need to hang onto those pieces as long as possible to fuck your draft position in the goat ass (spoken from a competing tank outfit, of course)

No more chants of STU in Edm.

Did they solve their goaltending issue? Or just kick the can down the road?

I’m going with the latter.

Jarry has good regular season numbers, but his playoff stats are pretty awful (3+ GAA and less that .890 SV%).

His sample size is much smaller than Skinner’s, so Edmonton is probably hoping this kicks the team in the ass more than solves the crease issue via talent, because otherwise they’ve just replaced what they had and are banking on the smaller sample size being irrelevant.

Edmonton also gave up Kulak in the the trade - one of the few reliable D men they have. This trade made them even weaker than they were.

Doesn’t matter to Silovs if Skinner or Jerry is his backup.

Schenn just pulled a bullshit dirty move on Bedard injuring him . It’s tough to see what he did but there is a slow motion vid of it. Bedard could be out for awhile.
