Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas
I see people are smoking rock in this thread. Just get Drai for Demko and scraps. Can we throw in the rights to Behn Wilson and a 3rd rounder in 2028. Maybe some fireworks and smoked salmon.

Regarding Draisaitl and the current state of our trade proposals

Hey, this thread isn't called "pipe dreams" for nothing.

Blob, what is your guess about the assets we get back for whichever goalie we trade this summer?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 10:49 pm I see people are smoking rock in this thread. Some people just can't wait their turn to yank a hoot outta the pipe

Not Blob but my guess is we trade Silovs in a package for another player - likely as part of whatever the big trade the team makes this season. I just don't see them trading Demko even if they can't re-sign him.Tciso wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 9:15 amBlob, what is your guess about the assets we get back for whichever goalie we trade this summer?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 10:49 pm I see people are smoking rock in this thread. Word is everyone is asking for one of Willander or D-Pete along with the 15th OA pick for the big names being offered out there. Sorry but no thanks.

Peterka, Rossi, etc.Mëds wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:17 pmWho are the big names being offered out there?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:06 pm Word is everyone is asking for one of Willander or D-Pete along with the 15th OA pick for the big names being offered out there. Sorry but no thanks.
You’re not getting any of those level players as cheap as some would like, Mëds. Blackhawks apparently dangling the 3rd to get Peterka.
Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas
Neither of these guys are difference makers on their own. They are both coming off of their ELC's with only a single season of true top-6 production to their name. Are either of them worth a 3rd OA plus pieces? Maybe in a weak draft. Definitely not for a team like the Canucks who need to find a horse to pull the cart.....Rossi and Peterka are more likely just racing wheels that make the cart faster.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:24 pmPeterka, Rossi, etc.Mëds wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:17 pmWho are the big names being offered out there?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:06 pm Word is everyone is asking for one of Willander or D-Pete along with the 15th OA pick for the big names being offered out there. Well, Mëds if you want better than that then you’re definitely going have to package up something like Willander or D-Pete along with the 2025 first. Buffalo wouldn’t budge on Peterka if we ain’t offering something like that. Tampa is apparently offering up Isaac Howard for Peterka. Howard is one of top NHL team affiliated prospects not playing in the NHLMëds wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:32 pmNeither of these guys are difference makers on their own. I realize that. That's why I'm saying it doesn't make sense for the Canucks right now.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 5:40 pmWell, Mëds if you want better than that then you’re definitely going have to package up something like Willander or D-Pete along with the 2025 first.
