I see people are smoking rock in this thread. Just get Drai for Demko and scraps. Can we throw in the rights to Behn Wilson and a 3rd rounder in 2028. Maybe some fireworks and smoked salmon.

Not Blob but my guess is we trade Silovs in a package for another player - likely as part of whatever the big trade the team makes this season. I just don't see them trading Demko even if they can't re-sign him.

Peterka, Rossi, etc.

You’re not getting any of those level players as cheap as some would like, Mëds. Blackhawks apparently dangling the 3rd to get Peterka.

Neither of these guys are difference makers on their own. They are both coming off of their ELC's with only a single season of true top-6 production to their name. Are either of them worth a 3rd OA plus pieces? Maybe in a weak draft. Definitely not for a team like the Canucks who need to find a horse to pull the cart.....Rossi and Peterka are more likely just racing wheels that make the cart faster.

Well, Mëds if you want better than that then you’re definitely going have to package up something like Willander or D-Pete along with the 2025 first. Buffalo wouldn’t budge on Peterka if we ain’t offering something like that. Tampa is apparently offering up Isaac Howard for Peterka. Howard is one of top NHL team affiliated prospects not playing in the NHL

I realize that. That's why I'm saying it doesn't make sense for the Canucks right now.
