Someone hated him like mad. I can't recall who but I do recall goading reactions out of them by praising old Boothy every chance I could
Chef was no fan. The best part of the whole boothy experience was hearing how Mike Gillis scouted him, he asked his former teammates like Chris Higgins what they thought of him. The same lazy ass scouting he applied to his amateur scouting when it came to drafting.
Ahhh yes, Boothy, Higgins, Kesler... the American Express line. :)

Blobbee used to get mad at us for criticizing the Booth era. Referred to us as the Urine Crew. Doc, I looked at a potential project in the ole Clark Park neighborhood today, around 20th and Dumfries by that old elementary school. Know where I’m taking about?

I think you're mixed up there on that location Dude, doesn't make sense to me.

But then it's been a few decades since I stomped around those parts...

From the south side of Clark park where Dumfries starts you go south on Dumfries , past 18th then 19th which is a weird u-shaped street that starts on Dumfries and comes back out on Dumfries then you hit 20th. Are you losin’ it, man?

Ahh, okay, I didn't venture south of the park much back in the day.

Mostly east and north really...

The exodus continues. Jackson Smith commits to Penn State. Sad times for CHL major junior hockey. Penn State is where Gavin McKenna is rumored to be going.

The devolution of the CHL to bush league status.

I was surprised to see that as of this morning, the Canucks still have their 15th overall pick.

Forecasts?

Adjustments to forecasts ?

I'm reading analysts who think they'd be looking at someone like Nesbitt, Carbonneau, Cootes, or -- perhaps most controversially -- Reschny. Anybody have a preference? Want someone else?

Yes.

Kaiden Guhle - 16th OA
Tyson Foerster - 23rd OA
Jake Neighbors - 26th OA
Matt Boldy - 12th OA
Cole Caufield - 15th OA
Thomas Harley - 18th OA
Connor McMichael - 25th OA
K’Andre Miller - 22nd OA

Keyshawn Aitcheson, Braden Cootes, Roger Mcqueen or the Victoria kid.

Or deal 15 and 47 for 1 late first and a couple 2nds and another 3rd. More darts at the board. Some folks can't keep up. Call people broom pushers when the 'broom pusher' repeatedly works over the old rock collector. I guess some old grump has to run the dustpan.

I’d be very surprised if McQueen makes it to 15. Had he played the entire season he might be in consideration to go top 3.

I like any one of Cootes, Reschny or Bear at 15.

This article on Bear has me convinced he’s our guy at 15 if the two bald heads don’t move the pick in another desperation move.

I'd be happy enough with that pick (kids born in the latter half of the year often under-perform coming up through junior, leading me to suspect that he has a higher ceiling than he has shown), but my reading of the article leads me to suspect that he won't still be there are 15.
