Are the Islanders fans still talking about Michael Dal Colle?

Move on
I'm still pissed we didn't pick Kopitar! :hmmm:

I usually love the draft but have paid very little attention to it this year given the team will almost certainly be trading their 1st rounder, and perhaps even more after that. I guess when you've only picked 3 times out of your last 10 1st and 2nd rounders you really don't care about drafting! If they trade the first this year that will be 4 out of 12, though I wouldn't be surprised if they trade the 2nd as well to make it 3 out of 12.

Really dumb way to run a franchise when you're a mediocre to bad as a team but here we are.

Well...... a tard ran the team for many years and moaned about age gaps, and coveted guys who were good in scrums. They couldn't actually fight, and punched like kittens, in filling in the "age gap", he created another age gap. He resonated with the dude as the had the same hair strand look and morbidly obese look and talked hillbillinese. He finally wan out of time.

This management is doing similar but not quite as stupid things. The blind leading the blind.

The remaining constant? - The Aqualini Way.

This new regime will go down in Canuck regime history as the biggest trader of draft picks in Canuck history.

Shameful.

If you are able. Please enlighten the board about how many picks this management acquired, how many picks that they've dealt, who came back in the deals, young players etc, and compare it to the Lennie Small era. Like dealing prospects like Jared McCann or Gustav Forsling for garbage is pretty disturbing, isn't it? Tossing in 2nd rounders for scrubs is ok. Break it down Cook. Not in this thread.

Hargraves wants Martin, Reschny or Aitcheson with the pick.

DRAFT THREAD.

How many teams did McCann play for after being dealt by the Canucks and same for Forsling before ending up in Florida?

Who cares? That was Gillis's draft regardless. The scouts that were here ran the draft for the 270 pound infant.

Aitcheson
Martin
Reschny
Cootes

Martin will be long gone. Won’t get past the 10th pick.

The top 5 boom or bust draft prospects of 2025. Doyle’s boi leads the way, but really not sure why Doyle wants more D-men, h must be obsessed with the D. Personally I think he’s the next Darnell Nurse.

Chef keeps coming back to Cole Reschny as the cat we should draft. Not tall but stocky. Hockey IQ is off the charts. We learned our lesson with numbskulls like Virtanen and Juolevi.

Don't include Juolevi in the same class as Virtanen because they had very different reasons for being draft busts....

There wasn't a part of Juolevi's body that didn't need surgery including his back, knee and hip and given his stats before the onslaught of injuries began there is no reason to think he wouldn't have had a long NHL career...

Take care...

Juolevi was just a strange dude, stranger than that weirdo Mike Gillis acquired - David Booth, the religious fanatic.

Didn't Torts call him weird over his habit of hunting bear with the bow & arrow tho?

Ahhh, Boothy, once voted Most Exciting Player of your Vancouver Canucks....

Boothy! Ha!

Someone hated him like mad. I can't recall who but I do recall goading reactions out of them by praising old Boothy every chance I could

Chef was no fan. The best part of the whole boothy experience was hearing how Mike Gillis scouted him, he asked his former teammates like Chris Higgins what they thought of him. The same lazy ass scouting he applied to his amateur scouting when it came to drafting.
