Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Yeah I thought was he was retiring when he left, not sure if that was legit and he likes to do the odd game to stay involved? Or if someone else retired him from the Canucks broadcast team and he’s just taking what he can get. Rogers wanted him removed from Canucks games because they wanted homers g ...

Re: What trades do you think will actually happen this season?

Trade them all. Get younger and more picks. With all the cap we have start trading prospects and picks to get some good vets on the team and blow the rest in free agency.

Re: 2026 NHL Draft

...If there isn't a strong goalie in the system ready for promotion to the NHL by October 2027, there is usually at least competent goaltending available on the free agent market at relatively modest prices. But unless there's an NHL ceiling in Tolopio that I am not aware of, the Canucks don't have ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

I have no problem with the way Petey has played this season. Not his peak, but quite good at both ends of the ice. He was not good from the all star break two season ago up till the start of this season. I don’t know why. Injury, club house conflict, conditioning. your guess is as good as mine. I d ...

Looks like Quit was indeed the problem. lol

Liking Rossi. He isn’t a number one centre but for sure z2nd line. Real hockey smarts. Man we could be good soon.

It is so hard to cheer against them. Glad for Demko with the S/O. Kane with the game winner. PK perfect. Great effort. I actually watched the whole game.

Who knew that Quit Who’s was the problem?

Well he was a late addition. Boeser was a game day decision. I think I read there is a flu going around.

Re: GDT - Canucks @ NYR Dec 16 @ 4:00pm PST SN

Man when Forbert, Bluegar and Pettersson are back we may go on a heater and get back into wild care contention. Then trade Minnesota’s 1st and a prospect for help at the TDD, keep all of our vets including soon to be UFAs, only to have Demko get hurt the day after.

Re: GDT - Canucks @ NYR Dec 16 @ 4:00pm PST SN

He is fit as fuck & plays heavy as well. His Dad has something to do with that. Ohgren's father, Andreas, is a well-respected strength and conditioning coach, who has worked with notable NHL players including Nicklas Backstrom, Marcus Johansson and Andre Burakovsky All the insta-naysayers looking ...

Ohgren has a great shot and great speed. I think he could be our new and maybe improved Hoglander.

Gawd I am so excited!!!!

NOT

But I will watch for as long as I can. Want to see the new guys. Want to see if the old guys still give a shit. Want to see if Demko can remain injury free.
