With Rantanen back in the west, the Canucks management really need to evaluate their standing amongst their peers in the west because as of now and the near future we have some giants to get through to get to Lord Stanley and we certainly ain’t doing it with this mix.

I’d go as far as saying that Anaheim and Utah are ahead of us in the curve. I have zero faith in this organization truly understanding who this team really stacks up against. Kind of like Dylan Cozens not understanding that he can’t fight but still does.

Still waiting on Byfield, as he was the 2nd overall pick. I like Quinton but at the moment I’m still taking a few players ahead of him - Sanderson, Stutzle, Raymond, Rossi, Jarvis, Guhle, Peterka, Lundell.

A toss up between him, Holloway, Perfetti, Foerster, Neighbors, Schneider, Lafrenierre, Zary, Greig, Bourque.

It’s like Byfield is forever on the launch pad, he teases you, then disappears, weird talent. Not sure what’s holding him back, always seems to be something.

He has 5 more years of team control. Necas has one. Yes he's short but I don't see him getting tossed around out there. Kid will play at 180 and apparently they have given him more reps at centre, his natural position. He's going to be a damn good player for a long time.

Get rid of Boeser and Suter.
