That's not arithmetic for success no matter how you slice it.

They've played well most of the last 7 or 8 games. They haven't gotten any bounces. Even if they miss the playoffs, they weren't going to trade Brock for Dallas's 2027 first rounder. A couple of astute moves and they are right in the mix next year.

The Rangers are a facade of a team. A lot of smoke and mirrors. Good to see Miller will have no chance at a cup.

Little bit of both. The boys played well enough to beat them, but the bounces didn’t go their way.

Even so, Lanky is probably tired. For what it’s worth, even with the season on the line, time to start Šilovs against NJ.
