Canucks are in MSG to take on the dastardly JT Miller and the villainous blueshirts in a high stakes morning duel.

There are many good reasons, personal and professional, that this one go the right way.

Can we do it? Why yes. Of course we can.

For Pete's sake we can!

If they only win one game the rest of the year, I hope it is this one.

I'd take Sean Avery, Glen Sather, Donnie Murdoch, Ron Duguay, Larry Brooks, Tie Domi, Aram Graves, Nick Fotiu, Mark Messier, Jeff Beukaboom and Mike Keenan over Jesse Twinkletoes. And of course Darren Langdon. My favorite Newfie next to the Clearys' and Terry Ryan.

14 - 0 for Canucks.

Pettersson- 5
M Petersson - 3
O'Connor- 3
Mancini- 3

Linus Karlsson kicks the heaven living shit out of Jesse Twinkletoes at centre ice and knocks out several of his teeth. Then he does the Domi speed bag, belt thing on his way to the penalty box. A handful of canuckscorner posters are enraged and vow to never watch hockey again.

Miller finishes -11 with a mouthful of red chiclets.

Thinking there may be line-up changes after the loss last game.

Kind of want Mancini in over DPetey for this one game, so he can play against the team that traded his rights away. He could be highly motivated.

Hoping Demko is capable of taking the start. Shouldn’t overplay Lankinen and the early start could make this a good game to skip and for the back-up to take.

Karlsson didn’t look nearly as good against St. Louis as he did against Winnipeg. I think Winnipeg didn’t skate particularly well in that one game, taking the Canucks lightly, so a slower, grittier player like Karlsson was effective. St. Louis had a lot more speed in that desperate, high-intensity game and Karlsson disappeared. The Rags are as desperate for a win as St.Louis was so the intensity will be high. Won’t be surprised to see Lekkerimaki in for Karlsson playing very limited minutes, but used on PP1 where he looked pretty good the last time he played.

Just win!

Lafrenière Isn’t fitting in.
Were issues with J.T Trump support related?
Trade Chytil for Lafrenière straight up.

Gotta wonder about how it’s sitting with JT. A lot of Americans in that room - JT Miller, Trochek, Fox, Kreider, K’Andre Miller, Borgen. I respect Lafrenierre doing this even more, shows he has balls (hello Wayne Gretzky). That being said, enough Canadians in the room whom I sure have Lafrenierre’s back - Schneider, Rempe, Cuylle, Soucey, Carrick.

J.T. Miller on Trump's call: "It was so awesome to get his support. It's a pretty big deal for him to take time out of his schedule to talk to us for five minutes. It's just another one of those things where we're kind of pinching ourselves this tournament.”

I could understand someone having an issue with JT’s politics if his comments reflects how he feels, especially a non-American, non-MAGA type.

Will Lafreniere be JT’s new Petey? Is the question. Something tells me Lafreniere won’t stand for it the way Petey put up with the abuse.
