The return of Quit Hughes!

My advice to the Casucks regarding video tribute:

Start the video with the traditional “thank you Quinn Hughes” graphic and then show highlights of Rossi, Oghrem, Buium in Canucks jerseys and Novotny in his Pete’s jersey.

For Christmas I think the Canucks will give theman a reprieve by finally winning a game.

Will there be enough people in the stands that any booing would be audible?

Will the boos echo due to the mausoleum effect?

Will EP40 be the next dude who forces his way out? Is his "inspired" play a ploy to pave a route out of town?

These questions and more could be answered on the next episode of As the Canucks Turn....

My prognostication is that in this episode, our favourite first mate, theGilliganman, will once again find a way to remain stuck on this island.

I am very worried that I will still be on the clock after tomorrow night.

That is certainly my hope. But maybe not before Demko gets back and looks great backstopping the Canucks to some brief winning streak -- right before the deadline, when they both get dealt for amazing, if perhaps far future, returns. The fact that I am hoping for a winning streak later is part of why I'm glad they're opening up a cushion now.

I, at least, can't complain about having nothing to cheer for in this edition of the Canucks.

Do I tell my wife? She'll just find shit for me to do tonight. Lol.

Just prep 5 or 6 GDT starters and send if off for Corn to post.

Don't worry, your streak will still be here waiting for you when you return.
