Watching all this movement while Vancouver sits on its hands just reinforces how absolutely far into the ditch Rutherford and Allvin drove the Canuck Bus…..nobody wants what we’re offering, and rightfully so.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

or we have rookie management team that has other priorities. (rightfully or wrongly, we just don't know)

It's hard for me to imagine a higher priority for this organization than stockpiling draft picks, but
if they believe that they have really sold the Little Eagles on a five year mission, the '27 and '28 draft years are projected to be at least as good, and they might be thinking that draft picks actually have their highest value around this time, and they might get more at the deadline next year.

Great to see so many teams being active.

And strange to see some non playoff teams adding nhl talent while playoff teams shed it even without a huge cap crunch. Teams are looking ahead.

Buffalo gets 4th OA and will resign Tuch and lock up Benson to 8 year deal. Worried about defense depth? Just play Dahlin 30 mins a night.

I can’t see Buffalo wanting to take a step back after missing the playoffs for 14 consecutive seasons!

Their newly acquired 4th could be in play.

What do they need?

Yup. There a very real way we could walk away with kid Malhotra and Verhoeff.

With recent moves can’t see SJ avoiding Stenberg.

So Reid is there for us at 3. Would look good in NY or SEA.

Hronek for #4.

Move #3 to NYR or SEA for their pick and their unprotected 1st in 2027. Take Verhoeff at 4, Malhotra at 5 or 7. Gain a chance at DuPont and a potential top line centre next year!

I concur.

Jeremy, EP, Debrusk... should have tons of value to teams that have been drafting high for years and are now ready to move assets for youngish vets to help take the next step.

Hope TNFGs realize this window of opportunity to really fill the cupboards and are calling the shit out of the other GMs around the league.
