I didn't watch this one, but this kind of shit is why you don't let the scrub teams play.
I give the French guy credit for a nice judo takedown using leverage, but like in WWII, he was taking multiple shots on a downed opponent as long as the allied refs were in there. As soon as Wilson came up to look for retribution, dude turtles like a cheese eating surrender monkey.
But Wilson has dished enough cheap shots that I also didn't mind that he got embarrassed either.

Msckinnon didn't see that stealth forearm to the mush coming; that kind of blow often leads to a concussion.
He's lucky if he can play the next game. The punch you don't see coming is the one that usually hurts you.
He was on the ice again just a minute later. If he is injured the coaches should be fired.
Then again, I guess this is just a temporary job for them. Maybe fined?

Excellent analysis, Carlito-san.
Razor sharp.
I was actually surprised by the resistance he showed initially.
Though not by the underground elbow.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

If it were the NHL, the spotters would have pulled him from the game. Sometimes a guy feels fine, and then the symptoms set in later.
I just hope he's good to go; we'll see soon enough.
was really pissed by the german nonperformance but if you see the playofftree.
For what's worth on paper. I dare to say Germany can be in the semi. Wow.
Sweden has a real hard way btw. Good luck.

Good.
I didn’t see the “provocative behaviour” so I’m not sure a ban by his own federation was justified, but perhaps there was and it was deserved.
Either way, I applaud the French hockey fed for having more balls than Bridgette Macron.

Pierre Crinon suspended by French hockey federation after Tom Wilson fight
"The French weren’t as amused.
Crinon has been suspended by the French Olympic federation for the rest of the Olympic tournament — likely just Tuesday’s qualification-round game against Germany — for his actions during and following the fight.".
Here is a comment from a French hockey fan familiar with Crinon in The Athletic article's comment section:

To everyone watching the article, I am French, living in France, following very closely the Fench league, and this Crinon act is just the most recent one of a very long list. He is dirty and does not learn from his mistakes. He isn’t suspended just because of this, but because he broke the pact he made with the Fench federation back in December. There was a huge backlash when he was named in the Olympics team and here we are now.
