I was expecting a Friday night trade a couple days ago - starting to get impatient.
If they have any value at all, Kane and Kampf need to be gone before the break Wednesday.
If a couple 7th rounders are offered, take it, just to clear more ice time for the kids.
But, I’m beginning to think they have no value at all.
Then they can grind on Blugers and make a last minute trade at the TDL to maximize his value after the Olympics.
He should be the most valuable piece they have left of the UFAs. I think contenders would want him.

I don’t think it is that they have ‘no value’ it is just the offers aren’t acceptable to the Canucks. Example, Canucks have said they want a 3rd for Kane but are probably only being offered a 5th/6th right now. Hopefully that changes after the Olympic break.

Mr Aquilini would have to okay the eating of Kane's salary, which isn't necessarily going to happen. At least not without some wrangling.
Besides, everyone's been scouting him this year, and he doesn't look like he could crack a playoff lineup to me...

Saw a report on ‘x’ (can’t find it now) that with the Canucks on a ‘mommy’s trip’ don’t expect any trades before the Olympic roster freeze.
Now that I posted this, watch the Canucks make multiple trades before the roster freeze deadline.
