Going to be a long night, Myers screens the goalie on the 2nd goal.

The D that was supposed to be the teams strength isn’t showing in the games I have watched.

Second goal with Myers and Metey on the ice. They are becoming unplayable.

Um, I think Myers did what he was supposed to do... defend the wide open net that Lankinen took himself out of.

It's not like he was playing goal because he wanted to, like you know, Edler used to do in front of his own goalie.

Twice in the last few years the Canucks have had historical bad PK and both times Myers had even first over the boards. Once they got Cole and Forbort they could kill penalties okay. You’d think management/coaches would clue in to the pattern at some point.

2 goals by the Canucks and QH has no points.

Team started slow but really picked it up.

Ok Donny... remember like a year and a half ago I told you that Pettersson, when playing like he can, is a top of the league level talent?

Well here he is. This is the first time I can say I see his game is back. Where the fuck he's been is a mystery but I'm finally, FINALLY seeing it.

I gotta say, there was play earlier that had Petey with the puck, and for the first time in a very long time, I was excited.

He's also starting to become a better than 50% faceoff guy which is quite the script flip

Yep, some were wrong about Petey, some were right.

Let just hope those of us who were right, continue to be so.

Not our usually "blah" game at home after getting back from a road trip.

Oh, c'mon...

Nobody was "wrong" or "right" about ol' Petey. Some rightfully criticized the fact that he was on a milk carton before he even signed his massive contract.

Being generous, that was end of Jan 2024 until being found recently, well-rested and unharmed in Nov 2025. You do the math, guys.

This isn't some dogpile. This was self-inflicted and compounded by an unwillingness to take responsibility, blaming phantom injuries and amazingly not coming into the next camp better prepared, let's say, after being completely missing leading up to the playoffs and during it. "Revenge". Yeah, ok.

Nothing "wrong" about the criticism. I'm sure Donny would also not agree to being "wrong".

Good to see "the guy" now (almost) living up to expectations... as much as he and the team can given the lack of a well-run organization above them.
