Not saying this in a bad way, just a developmental one - D.Petey is going to get suspended in the NHL at some point. Like Virtanen, just a bit much, with some suspect timing.
I'd take that any day over the guy in Black who just turned away from a forecheck hit, and let the player have the puck though.

Fuck does Seattle play in a rec center? I thought they had a new arena

LOL, it is a rec centre - not the Kraken arena. Climate Pledge is a pretty nice one, interesting design all around being underground.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sun Sep 14, 2025 6:19 pm Fuck does Seattle play in a rec center? I thought they had a new arena

Firkus was noticeable, in a good way. Catton, wasn't there, .Didn't notice O'Brien, Sale, or Fiddler.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Sep 14, 2025 6:15 pm How are the Kraken’s top prospects looking:

This was the Kraken lineup. Firkus, Goyette, Nelson, and Villenueve were the standouts for me.

I personally think Seattle's most NHL-ready prospect is Jani Nyman. 21 years old, 6'2" 215 215-pound LW. Went 28-18-44 in 58 games as a rookie pro in Coachella Valley last year, and 3-3-6 in 12 NHL games after a late-season call-up in Seattle. He plays a very robust power forward game. He was a second-round pick out of Finland.

Me too. Sounds like we have ourselves a bit of an asshole. Shove some coal up his ass, and turn him into a diamond.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Sun Sep 14, 2025 6:14 pm Not saying this in a bad way, just a developmental one - D.Petey is going to get suspended in the NHL at some point. I'm going to go see the scrimmage in Penticton on Saturday. I'll fill you guys in that evening.
I didn't get a chance to see either prospect game. Kind of a shame there's no tournament this year. Still will be a good time in the interior. The SOEC is a great facility.

Looking forward to what you see. It'll be good to have a front row perspective from a Cornerite.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 15, 2025 4:23 pm I'm going to go see the scrimmage in Penticton on Saturday. I'll fill you guys in that evening.

I was looking at the Abbey roster for this season. On D we have some good prospects and potential in net. But man up front there is really no one left, other than maybe Sasson, who gets me excited. All of our so called potential prospects are on the big club.
Allvin needs to start to process of restocking.
