It would seem that Blocker side on Wolf is the way to go…..those were both wicked shots though.
…with a roster 95% comprised of a who’s who of names that would be bottom-6 forwards and 4-6 defensemen, on good NHL teams, in front of a young goaltender who doesn’t have a NHL-ready backup.Let’s start every season at home against a team on the back half of a back to back…..
He was kinda invisible. But not in a bad way. Let's see how he is against Edmonton's bottom 6. I think he will look better on Saturday night.
I think he did have a deer-in-the-headlights first game. Understandable - the kid's been in a whirlwind since the draft. In light of that, not being noticeable either way is a good start.
Made a couple of smooth passes in transition. Otherwise unnoticeable. Will have to do a lot more the next few games for it to make sense to develop in NHL.
I actually thought he played well for his first NHL game. He was well positioned and knew his assignment. Didn’t see the offence from him yet but he is showing some hockey IQ. Will he stay past 9 games, I don’t think so but he has a few more games to show his stuff.
Definitely. If he continues that level of play he should get on the bus to Seattle ASAP. Fucking with his development serves no purpose
This observation has me perplexed.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Fri Oct 10, 2025 1:13 pmDefinitely. If he continues that level of play he should get on the bus to Seattle ASAP. Fucking with his development serves no purpose
