Mëds wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2025 10:44 am I did notice that EP40 was playing very good positional hockey in the D zone, and he was very active with his stick to disrupt lanes.
I'd like to see Tocchet pat him on the head after one of these amazing shifts.

FFS Corn, I was trying to moderate my stance on the guy.
Is that really the truth Mëds?
Yeah. It is. For all his suckage, Petey has been playing a very good game in the defensive end. He just sucks at face-offs, otherwise he shows near-Bergeron level IQ in his own end.

As I have always said, Pettersson as a complimentary scoring threat at the right price is just fine by me. He's not a guy you build around.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Another way to look at it is that we don't write the cheques. Imagine he's a 4.5m per year defensive specialist with a bit of offensive upside, and then see how he looks tonight.

Been there, done that.

I’d pay him $7M to be our 2C.

Behind a legit top line he should be able to drive secondary offense while playing good D zone hockey. However, he can’t win draws to save his skin…..
