The only thing that could justify for me the bag of burning shit Rutherford left on Gary Mason’s front stoop is they have a good offer from a team that Miller won’t waive for. Not likely, and maybe it's the irrational optimist in me, but I still see a timeline where these two bury the hatchet - even if temporarily - for everybody's sake.

Quinn's not the GM, but management would be stupid to discount who Quinn thinks should go. Hell, ask the room who should go. If the motivation to trade one or both of them is to clear the dysfunction in the room moving forward, then consult the players dealing with the dysfunction.
