The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Metrosexual city mouse, 5th, returns small arms fire at the rural hillbillies' outhouses...
Cuz Jethro not imprezzed at having his hourly, outhouse weed break interrupted by a city slicker and his wee pistol.
Is that all you got, metro-dweller? Just a flesh wound, gonna rub some dirt on it and get back to doing what us country folk do best... receiving benefits!
(Running away to avoid rural retaliation)
Nah - we got indoor plumbing now.
Also, If city slickers were coming out to shoot at rural outhouses, they better bring more than a wee pistol.

Small town/hick town living is dead and dying. Terrible environment to retire to. The cutbacks are only going to get worst cause governments are going broke and will be forced to shut civil services and support in communities with a small population base, it’s already happening. It’s all heading to beehive living centred around metropolitan centres. The populated centres will get top priority in government budgets over providing expensive services for Jed and Jethro living out in the sticks. It’s a numbers game, pecking order.
The preacher man says it's the end of time
And the Mississippi River, she's a-goin' dry
The interest is up and the stock market's down
And you only get mugged if you go downtown
I live back in the woods, you see
My woman and the kids and the dogs and me
I got a shotgun, a rifle and a four-wheel drive
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
I can plow a field all day long
I can catch catfish from dusk 'til dawn (yeah)
We make our own whiskey and our own smoke too
Ain't too many things these old boys can't do
We grow good-ole tomatoes and homemade wine
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
Because you can't starve us out and you can't make us run
'Cause we're them old boys raised on shotguns
We say grace, and we say ma'am
If you ain't into that, we don't give a damn
We came from the West Virginia coal mines
And the Rocky Mountains, and the western skies
And we can skin a buck, we can run a trotline
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
I had a good friend in New York City
He never called me by my name, just hillbilly
My grandpa taught me how to live off the land
And his taught him to be a businessman
He used to send me pictures of the Broadway nights
And I'd send him some homemade wine
But he was killed by a man with a switchblade knife
For 43 dollars, my friend lost his life
I'd love to spit some beech nut in that dude's eyes
And shoot him with my old .45
'Cause a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
'Cause you can't starve us out and you can't make us run
'Cause we're them old boys raised on shotguns
We say grace, and we say ma'am
If you ain't into that, we don't give a damn
We're from North California and South Alabam'
And little towns all around this land
And we can skin a buck, and run a trotline
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
A country boy can survive
Country folks can survive
as it slowly dawns on Lever that he's one of us now
Don King weeps as he looks down from his castle, feeling a tremendous sense of loneliness and isolation as he recalls a past life...
While drowning his sorrows in one of the island's drinking establishment, a local asks a despondent Lever, "Didn't you say you moved here because you wanted to leave city life behind and had no need for the ferries?"
Yep, autostart hooked up to nat gas is the way to go. You can apparently get one with propane option as well in case it all goes to shit but my installer dissuaded me ... don't recall the convo.

I don't think the islands have gas
Yeah I guess not. I suppose Donny will have a rather large and beautiful propane tank next to his dream home. Maybe he can paint it camo.
