Well,the Algerian boxer is now going to court, so that should get sorted out.

She participated in the 2020 Olympics (came 5th) and the 2022 world championships (lost the final) without anyone having a problem with that. But then she defeated an undefeated Russian boxer at the 2023 world championship, and the corrupt Russian based IBA decided to disqualify her so that their boxer could have her undefeated record restored. The same organisation had no problems with her participation in the 2022 world championship, or the 2020 Olympics, that they also were in charge of. There has long been protests against corruption and fixed games within the IBA, which is why they no longer are in charge of the Olympic tournament.More than 30 nations had left the organisation even before they got kicked out of the Olympics.
