The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.
When I joined the Corner Brian gave me the look! He remembered me... I have a reputation of some sort. I told him I was a changed man. You want proof... I'm going down to my home theater to watch Handy Manny with my kid!

No spoilers please but OH WOW!
I agree with you. Oh wow says it all. Walking Dead are breaking all the rules. The scene where the guy named Otis got done by Shane was one of the most upsetting things I have seen on the tube. The way he pulled a hank of hair out of Shane and then Shane shaves his head. Shit is brilliant.
It is also extremely upsetting. When I was a kid I went and saw the Seven Voyages Of Sinbad the Sailor. Great movie but I was young and woke up freaked over the Cyclops scene where the big one eye snacks down on a sailor. I had the same feeling after watching The Walking Dead.
The description of the world left behind is perfect. Talk about the end of everything and brutal beyond belief. How many shows will take a chance on a lost young girl turning out the way this one did? Was anyone ready for that? To top it off it is the best acting I have seen since Breaking Bad and The Sopranos. The dude who plays Shane is unreal.
Shane looked absolutely INFUCKINGSANE. And is in par with Bardem in No Country and Ledger in Batman.
I think this episode is one of my favorite TV episodes of all time. Walking in the dark forest, with no lights, in a land of zombies? Sheeeeeeeet. That's scary man.
Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are the platinum standard for TV drama's these days.
