Did the Watchmen marathon of season 1. It was good in parts but got real goofy towards the end. I can’t stand most DC and Marvel shows but this one is low key enough to stomach. Actually didn’t mind Jessica Jones either.

I’m watching Apocalypse Now. It’s always been a C+ movie for me. I think it’s pretty good but highly overrated.
To me Platoon is a better movie. So is Papillion, The Great Escape and Blackhawk Down.
Platoon
The Great Escape
Papillion
Blackhawk Down
Apocalypse Now
Thoughts Reefer..,. Anyone?

Apocalypse Now is too long, too slow and too overrated. It's aight.
More recent 'Nam movies for me:
Full Metal Jacket <- fukin' awesome
Platoon
Hamburger Hill <- underrated
I like Papillon, but damn it was hopeless and depressing right up until the end. I'm talking about the Steve McQueen version, not the 2017 remake.

If its war movies i love the 70s greats like Bridge Too Far and Gund of Navarone. Anything with Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson or Clint Eastwood even

If the Dirty Dozen counts as a war movie -then it's in my top 3.

Dunkirk was pretty decent
I’m a big fan of Malik’s Thin Red Line. It’s a slow burner

That’s a great movie. As was mentioned earlier Eastwood, Marvin, just great actors. I’d lump Bronson and Macqueen in there too.
Anyone seen The Big Red One with Lee Marvin? An underrated film as well.
It wasn’t originally a real “top 5 list”. I was just picking a handful of good films to compare Apocalypse Now against, which by the way is a decent film, wicked cinematography, but as Hank says too fucking long. Similar to the Deer Hunter. But yeah The Dirty Dozen is a damn classic on any list.
