All he did at the end was try to set up Bure so's to get the 50 to be worth more. That part worked.

Messier was a puke but he was a necessary evil, much like Mike Keenan.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 9:59 amThe 'Darkdays of Messier were pretty low... As you know, my obsessive Gillis hate has everything to do with Blob and his Giggles Dayz, it’s just for shits and giggles but the sickly weirdo Benning Haters at CanuckHF fueled and protected and biased by the HF Mods such as idiot-extraordinaires - Cliffy, PG Canuck, Zombotron, BabyPettersson, LucBourdon, CanadianCanuck, Tryamkin those bat shit crazies are on a whole other level and spectrum of sports fandom sickness. They need help, yet they think everyone else does. Intervention, Treatment Centres, I don’t know, prescription pills? Whatever, they need it. MS and Melvin and their cowardly followers as well

I'd say it's sad but I cannot; Why? Cause that's what you get when you only have one baseline.

Re: LOL
This again. When Ballard first got to Vancouver he was probably injured and mishandled by AV. Guaranteed there was a gaggle of posters other than me who bitched about AV’s sandbagging of the guy, Donnie Leves, Potatoe among others. AV clearly wasn’t a fan and Ballard clearly never got untracked the first season, but probably didn’t do himself any favours. Whatever happened he was never the same player he was in Phoenix or Florida.
After that first year I never said a peep about how he was deployed. I think the guy had too many injuries and as I’ve said many times it was a lousy trade. Unlike yourself I can actually admit when I made the wrong call. You still think Juolevi was a better pick than Tkachuk.

I didn't hate Ballard when we acquired him. But when we did, I thought maybe Gillis wasn't going to get Hamhuis after all, then he did?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 11:40 amThis again. When Kieth threw that hip check clean, it was a thing of beauty. When Dan did, not so much.

I found this Vancouver radio history site. Get, and stays, interesting when you get to the 70s.

As I said before, I don't think you can blame the mods for what happenedRoyalDude wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 11:10 am As you know, my obsessive Gillis hate has everything to do with Blob and his Giggles Dayz, it’s just for shits and giggles but the sickly weirdo Benning Haters at CanuckHF fueled and protected and biased by the HF Mods such as idiot-extraordinaires - Cliffy, PG Canuck, Zombotron, BabyPettersson, LucBourdon, CanadianCanuck, Tryamkin those bat shit crazies are on a whole other level and spectrum of sports fandom sickness. ... nor for their inability to fix dat dere.
I sometimes picture myself in mod shoes over there... and I have no idea what I'd do.
(other than stop the deleting/editing of every other Strangelove post)

I'll say this, Mr Canucklehead is one of the finest mods I've seen
... and HFCanucks' best chance to turn things around (when the time comes).

Re: LOL
I am proposing we have a ranking system to be applied to HF Canucks members as sort of a warning system to let those of us here at CC know who they are dealing with over there, who is good, who is treacherous. I suggest we us the ski hill rating system:
Ski trail difficulty is measured by percent slope (grade), not degree angle. ... In general, beginner slopes (green circle) are between 6% and 25%. Intermediate slopes (blue square) are between 25% and 40%. Difficult slopes (black diamond) are 40% and up.
For instance Melvin, Y2K, Ronning and MS etc should be labelled as - Black Diamond and someone like FAN ‘Green Circle’
So I need help with this, let the ratings begin and we will use this rating system to warn the good Canuck fans of the treacherous Canuck fans

Re: LOL
Krutov is definitely Green. He’s normal, sensible and not a raging black diamond lunatic. He’s fighting the good fight over there for the alright Canuck fans.
