This little argument started when you called your leaves "a purposely bad team".

The leaves will never do a proper rebuild because the fans (YOU) won't let them.

With the shape they're in, a proper rebuild would take 5 years minimum.

YOU PEOPLE don't have the patience for that (and neither do Babs nor Lou).

But hey it's just as well, because the hockey gods will never allow the leaves to be a contender anyway...
You look at this team and think they are not doing a "Proper Rebuild". LOL seriously? Their draft in June was fantastic. They're tanking.
You made an odd point about their cap being proof they aren't rebuilding which is stupid.
During the preseason, Nylander and Brown were their best players. They sent both down. That would have made their tem better.

Hmmm... you sound like the average Oiler fan circa 2010

(although at least the Oil actually drafted some highly ranked players that year)

I never said that, go back and read it again.

I was questioning your statement that your leaves are "a purposely bad team".

They are a bad team (I claimed "worst in the league last year") because of mismanagement.

LOL as if they had a choice on whether or not to suck donkeyballs this season!
BigTuna wrote: During the preseason, Nylander and Brown were their best players. They sent both down. That would have made their tem better.
They were sent down because they weren't ready for the NHL (Brown never will be imesho).

As the preseason rolled on and the games got tougher, those two players sucked donkeyballs.

As horrible as the your leaves' roster is, they are mostly NHLers (albeit fringe NHLers).

In summary, the leaves suck because... destiny... and they will continue to suck because... destiny... :mex:

So I have the same crappy baseball knowledge as the Vegas oddsmakers and ESPN? They've all picked the Jays to win the world series.
Well unless they pull it out of their ass in the ninth and someone beats Gibbons with a bat they are done . Not beating KC 4/5 . The team has talent but Gibbons is a mongtard. You may as well have Pacific Blue and Per running the squad . Horrible manager.

Your word. But I will use it from time to time. It seems tighter than calling someone a mathonwy. :drink:

I'm just glad you like the word Blob, enjoy! :D

It would be WAY too cruel to call anyone a "mathonwy" though. :?

Well except for Mathonwy, who totally deserves it!

(no offense Mathonwy)

Funny how I was cheering for the Jays until the smelly fish came back here spouting his bullshit. I found I enjoyed watching them lose, really enjoyed watching them get embarrassed. Funny how that works.

14-2

Leaves have to be jealous of a blowout like that.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yeah... the Jays, it's an uncomfortable relationship. They are 3500km away, their name contains the word Toronto, the media fawns all over them, and they aren't the Expos... what's really to like? The east certainly showed they were happy to cheer for the US team, the Bruins, in 2011, so why do I have to cheer for the Jays? I think I'm more likely to support the Mariners.

I read an article in the New Yorker a while back that suggested the possibility that the Expos could be resurrected in Montreal. Does MLB have any problem franchises on their hands?
