So here it is, Wild in town. Might be getting someone like Hoggy back. That'd be good.

Let's talk about it.

The Wild grind my gears.

I oft think of Bert's guarantee and Darby fucking Hendricksons lid when they're in town.

Cool logo though....

Ole Guerin has been one of the heavy’s making inquiries on Sherwood. Foote needs to give Sherwood some favourable minutes. Maybe we can work out a deal for Rossi, he’s not having a great year, or get Lekkerimaki’s buddy - Liam Ohgren?

Google AI Overview:

Liam Öhgren and Jonathan Lekkerimäki were linemates and close friends at Djurgårdens IF in Sweden's junior leagues, often playing together on Sweden's U18 national team, forming a dynamic duo known for their offensive chemistry

Would another loss tonight spur ownership to force management into some panic trades?

I see the Wild on the schedule, and just think 'boring game' - I guess we'll see tonight.

I think the Wild are more talented and dynamic than you let on.

They have a number of very skilled players....

Team’s circling the drain. Going for the first overall draft pick is the only strategically logical move.
All the youngster with any potential at all should be getting priority ice time over vets until next season starts.
I’m expecting a Rutherford resignation and retirement announcement before then, followed by a deep house cleaning.
I figure Foote will get the boote before next season starts, too.

Petey's 500th game - he only needs 21 points tonight to be a PPG player. ;)

From now until the trade deadline the boys need to win just enough to keep hope alive, but not enough to make it worth spending picks for help, just the right amount for ownership to see the wisdom of selling UFA’s. Then hit the skids hard to maximize lottery odds.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
