MJ thats what they are going to call that Marner Tavares duo and what a duo it will be... They will dominate the NHL like no other duo in Leaf history sans ONE... AND DOCTAH we both know in your heart of Hearts Nothing will suplant the duo in the heart of a Young Doctah then Darryl Sittler and Lanny Macdonald...Strangelove wrote:Lol, here we go again...olpaddy wrote: He will look amazing in a couple years playing with Hometown Hero John Tavares...![]()

What a brilliant theory that is. You subtract a team's top 3 prospects and they aren't rated as high as a prospect pool. I'm sure that would not occur to any other team...Strangelove wrote:There are only 3 reasons the Leaves prospect pool is rated highly right now:BigTuna wrote:Oh my god. What will happen, the leaves will then get another top pick and add to their #1 status for top prospect pools?Strangelove wrote: If he's healthy and they're keeping him out... well that's gonna brew discontent no?
I hear it's his right shoulder.
Watch leafers blame this injury (it lingers they'll say) when Andersen's sv% craters behind that horrid dee.
Matthews, Nylander, and Marner.
After forcing them all into the lineup this season, they won't qualify as "prospects anymore"
Next summer their prospect pool will be ranked #31.
I predict Marner will be a major bust btw...
And LOL @ "Forcing" Matthews into the lineup. He played in a pro league last year and looked great.
BTW, brush up on the leaves' prospects. They have fantastic depth.

Do you understand now?
Matthews wouldn't need any forcing, but the trio of "Matthews, Nylander, and Marner" will need some.BigTuna wrote: And LOL @ "Forcing" Matthews into the lineup.

I have proven time and time again to have a more realistic understanding of your Leaves.BigTuna wrote: BTW, brush up on the leaves' prospects. They have fantastic depth.
Take those three out of the prospect pool and they're #31.
Do you understand now?
Nice to see you understood that Marner will bust.

One of ya'll should hit with your trucks & bury him under a construction site.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

No. They would not be. Not especially after this June's draft.
Again, take any teams top 3 prospects and they drop-off. I'm not sure what point you are making.
Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
of course every team minus the top 3 prospects will be lowered..
he is just saying yours would be lowered...THE MOST..hence #31 (vegas inc)

from 1st to 31st is a joke. Of course they wouldn't be anywhere close to last.
What he is saying is the leaves have 3 strong prospects and after those 3 there's nothing but crap. Which is complete crap.

You know what else is crap? Your 2016/2017 version of the maple leaves. Raw feces.BigTuna wrote:from 1st to 31st is a joke. Of course they wouldn't be anywhere close to last.rats19 wrote:of course every team minus the top 3 prospects will be lowered..

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Hockey pools will be more interesting than ever this year.
All the supposedly reliable odds sources are playing it safe, they think.
I, for one, expect plenty of surprises.
California teams dropping way down.
Pittsburg dropping.
Toronto and Edmonton rising, a lot! (sorry).
I'm looking around and not seeing Nashville getting near the respect they should.
There is, IMO, opportunities there this year for more teams to stay in the races, longer.
Has anyone heard when they will start experimenting with the offside cameras on the blue lines?
