It's Allvin's fault that Demko was injured most of the season. It's his fault Hughes got hurt and Pettersson as well. The Hronek injury is definitely management's fault. Boeser getting elbowed in the yap was all on management. Silovs playing horrible hockey is for sure on Allvin. Maybe it was the sandwich makers fault.

That people take Brown Cherry at his word is comical.

This season, after everything that went right, everything seemed to go wrong. Team chemistry issues, key injuries, key losses at times when they could have saved their season - it just seemed to perpetuate this cursed miasma over the team this season.

The glimpses of greatness were there - against potent opponents, no less - to give us hope that this season was an outlier. There were youngsters who showed that they can take a step forward next year, which is something we haven't seen much of since Bieksa, Burrows and Kesler graduated to the big club after Manitoba's AHL playoff run. Depending on how this off-season goes, there is a lot of reason to believe that the team that shows up this October will be better than the one who started it the year previous.

That said, and I can't stress this enough, it all hinges on what EP40 shows up at camp this Fall.

The fucker better have an offseason worthy of a Stallone-esque Rocky montage.
