But I honestly don't care to go areound on this anymore. It is what it is, as the great Bertuzzi would say.
Maybe I'll go be a Toronto Maple leaves fan again like I was in the 60s. The Aquilini era is a big fat no hoper.
Fuck it.
Well if you're in Crazy Town, Aquaman drove you there...
I came in here already on the edge, and Wids and Rikster started tormenting me with team narrative. I can't be responsible for my actions in such a state Doc. I knew you'd understand.

From the moment the Aqua Bro’s fired Nonis for refusing to trade Kesler, Bieksa and a 1st for Brad Richards I knew we were in trouble with this ownership. A few years later in 2013, Gillis proposes a rebuild - fired. A few years later Linden proposes a slow patient long term build - fired. You see the writing, they ain’t changing.
Bingo. That first one to this day I still shake my head at. Thank Christ NoNuts showed some nuts back then. Someone else with a big sack needs to use that example to show Aquafuck how important futures are. 2011 and all the money/residuals he benefited from it doesn't happen if "NoNuts" obeyed master.

Aqualini will be lumped in with Bill Wirtz Sr. and Harold Ballard in the builders category after all is said and done

I think the problem, Nuckertuzzi, is that no one has been, or will be able to show FA well sweet FA.
We have our very own Jerry Jones right here in Vantown.
Yup, nothing's changin'. The only hope is if success can happen despite it. Almost did last year, but the problem with last year and every other year that gives us hope is not having enough of those extra few pieces to push us over the top, and biggest reason for it is because of the endless cycle of pissing them away or not acquiring them when you get golden opportunities like today and don't do it for selfish shortsighted reasons.
And btw, there's something super sweet watching the Cowboys fail every year, and the look on JJ's face. Man that's enjoyable. We're getting to that territory here. I hate cheering against my team, but can't lie I will selfishly enjoy seeing AQ lose out on playoff revenue and seeing Brock and Pius walk.
