EP40 to Zayne Parekh:

"Welcome to NHL kid! Keep you head up"

Petey channeling his inner Scott Stevens.

& Yah, Petey should have gotten an A on that DOC18 goal. :P

Willander should have spent last year, or at least started last year, in Abbotsford. But I dont think his development would be served now by sending him down. The kid is holding his own. The three musketeers back there are holding there own.

Both the past two GMs rushed some of the kids as a matter of urgency to refresh the lineup and to entice the fans with the new greatest flash in the pan. And they gave up valuable development time. Both Willander and DPetey could have used time in Abbotsford. But they are here now. I feel for Mancini because I think he has always had promise but he needs to play. If he doesn't need waivers they should do him a four and send him down. Let him play top minutes.
The only HW the Canucks need

Is he transitioning into a powerforward? :|
Did you see the hit late in the game on Parekh? He laid him out. https://x.com/Hockey_Robinson/status/21 ... 77755?s=20

He's like Alexander Barkov with a mean streak now. Serious Selke candidate.
No, he was fine. He was being attacked by Flames #27 for the hit and his teammates stepped in. It was great all around.

Good question Rats. He is definitely surrounded by a lot of softness in the forward group at the moment. Bains isn't going to protect anyone.
