Kirill Kudryavtsev +2 was the best +/- on D tonight.
Added an assist.
He played well and saved a goal early.
Looks like an NHLer to me.

Kudryavtsev looks like a puck-moving bottom-pairing kid. That’s not a slag.

......
Looks like an NHLer to me.

The solid play wasn't a surprise, always been impressed whenever I see him play, tho mostly from AHL action. Great defensive instincts, always positions himself well and wins battles. Looks like he brought the same game up here with the small sample size so far. What did surprise me was the puck poise. Made more than a few slick passes instinctively..one a great stretch pass that landed perfectly on a forward's tape right after breaking up a play in the d-zone. That was impressive!

He was far more impressive than Mancini on Abby's run and I think we can already say the same thing up here. Too bad he won't have more games to build on it, but something tells me his game is ingrained and won't need a ton of nurturing. Experience will only make him better with plenty of time to grow.

I think Ohgren shows flashes.

I think Karlsson has manned up.

...I see more than just D.

So what you're saying is we already have a great 2nd line next year in the BRO line.

What you're saying is Karlsson with Cootes and Sushi/DoC can form a formidable 3rd line.

What you're saying is Calder winner McKenna and the young promising forward coming back in the DeBrusk plus 2nd rounder trade will resurrect EP40 to pre-2024 levels to form an elite top line.

What you're saying is Playoffs next year.

Shhhh! Stop saying shit, we don't want Waternoodle getting any ideas.

They need to remove Pouts from the roster by hook or by crook.

Very limited UFA options and a bunch of underachievers looking for a splash. The return will never be much but it's addition by subtraction in this case

Chicago, NJD and Islanders are all going to make moves

Is an anchor making the splash?

Possibly. Not looking for much of a return if we can just get off the contract. Just not sure how a team wants to fork out 11.6 x 6 without retention for a 50 pointer even if they believe they can turn him around.

I don't see how we don't retain, especially if TFGs are still here. The same minds can't find a solution to a problem they created.

Otherwise, we get back a pick and a Loui type anchor.

The PP Bros... subtraction is addition.

It'll take someone willing to take a risk hoping to coax some give-a-fuck out of the guy. Someone like Jimbro Benning!

There are lots of risk takers out there don't worry....he has shown elite talent and all it takes is a team that gets bumped early (like Carolina) and thinks they can unjumble the swedish enigma
