Between Toronto’s season thus far and Marner’s performance in the Olympics, safe to say Matthews benefited from Marner as much if not more than Marner benefitted from Matthews.

McDavid absolutely putting a stamp on being the best player in the world in these Olympics. MacKinnon not far behind.

Yeah, I always thought Marner was an highly skilled but overrated floater because of obvious bias... but he's shown that he was the real driver in T.O.

Celebrini looks like a kid in a candy store coming back to the bench sitting and chatting with McDavid and McKinnon.

As he should!

Fiala getting stretchered out, and can't blame this one on Wilson.

Is it bad that I just think the Kings are now a bigger trading partner target?

What happened to Fiala? How was Wilson involved? I missed it.

Yep, Wilson broke his leg with an atomic butt drop against the boards.

Fiala with kind of a 'reverse hit' and they went down very awkward - looked like his left leg got twisted when they landed, I would guess broken based on how he didn't move it.

Yikes! When I heard it was Wilson who was involved, I naturally assumed it was one of his intentional accidents, but sounds like he was innocent on this one.

Too bad for Fiala. Not a fan of his by any means. I think he's a gutless weasel who'll throw these sneaky reverse hits but will never back it up.

Yeah, hopefully it means we have another potential trade partner when the league restarts.

I'm hearing Peter has been mostly flaccid for the Swedes. Fourth line center duty with half the minutes of Eriksson-Ek.

Not boosting the Swedish offensive thrust...

Peter has failed to get it up for a full 24 months now and is of equal or less importance than 2 of his teammates, Ted & Dave... literally both of whom are NHL 4th line centers.
