Women's captain and overall team leader Marie-Philip Poulin, injured and departed from last game, out for US tilt.
Not ideal.

West coast game time, 11:10am - Think I'll watch this one.
Canada down 2-0 after 1, outshot 11-4.

That Abby Murphy had better hope the refs in the women's game don't hold grudges like your average NHL ref, she is making these zebras look bad flopping around the way she is.

4-0 after 2.... kind of a mean nothing game, but it sucks to be losing to a rival.

I feel the two will split their head to head games. Glad this is the one Canada will lose as that means we will win the gold medal game.

The US has been handing it to CAN in their last couple of years it seems. Something like 7-0 including the Rivalry Series.
This group of US Women seem to have Canada's number.
That game wasn't even close, not sure MPP would have helped much. US certainly the favourites to win Gold this time around.

4:1 Slovaks. The EN was crazy funny. The guy lost his stick at the blueline and was alone in front of the net with the puck trying to figureskate it out in circles before 2 of his mates put it in finally. Never seen this before.
I would say a 10.0 for expression.
Very good intense game. No sleeping start for this tournament.
