One thing about management at the NHL level is that unless you hire a complete nobody, they are all keeping tabs on the players in the upcoming draft. They all have connections and they all know where every team is at. Any manager coming in likely has had conversations with ownership prior to the current crew even being axed. This is especially true when it come to Frankie. The only thing really needed is to get in with and figure out your Hockey Ops support staff. Scouts have scouted, and simply need to be told what the team needs. If the team is where the Canucks are, every scout worth keeping around already should be scouting with both eyes looking for top talent for a rebuild.

That being said, firing these clowns at the end of the season is too late. Firing them at the start of the Olympic break is more than enough time for a new crew to be ready for the 2026 draft.

Too bad nothing can be done about the clown who's got his fat ass (FA) permanently wedged in the driver's seat of the clown car.

Yup. The management team do not have names. They are simply meat puppets to FA. Doesnt matter if we get new ones or not, results will be the same.

Beginning to think the incompetence was all by design. A master plan to show Fat Ass the core wasn't right no matter how much he believed it could be fixed in short order. The half ass attempt showed they "tried" just to prove it was a losing endeavour to begin with, and now they can justify extracting the old core and have a chance to build their own team.

It's pure genius, folks. Believe in Pinky and The Brain. They'll deliver a Cup in 5 years, you watch!

If that were true I'd howl.

If JR was 10 years younger I'd be more inclined to think it's possible.....I mean, he is the first guy these ass-clowns have hired that actually had some serious experience in the GM/Prez role.

Three knuckleheads running this team does make a certain amount of sense when you think about it.
Hughes, Tocchet, Miller, and Horvat are all a bunch of quitters

Maybe with JR's experience he was the only one who had the foresight to come up with this scheme. Remember FA only hires people who promise quick fixes, so no chance they're getting in trying to sell him on a long term plan. Before he goes into pasture JR wanted to cement his legacy as the guy who brought a championship to a city no one else could, but knew a rebuild was necessary to achieve it. The scheme somehow got them hired, and this now is what they wanted along. Genius at work.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Hey come on now. Nobody has gotten this far during FA’s ownership. Many have tried, all have failed… or got canned at the mere suggestion.

Nonis
Gillis
Trev
And who knows how many others interviewed and rejected.

JB lasted 7 years only from being a puppet serving FA’s way.

This was the only way. To get to this point is already a monumental achievement...the dawn of a true rebuild, what we've always wanted. We’re all too blinded by anger to see it. Puppet turned master. It’s genius man, I’m telling ya.

Despondence more like it for we fans 'Tuzzi.

The blind leading the blind more likely with respect to our group of braying donkeys.

I am quite enjoying your broadcasted narrative however....

...there is great healing to be gleaned from humour.

Carry on.
