...the saddest thing is intel like this that possibly deters FA & AIG to throw bad money after bad and punt our Management team which is why I asked how much is he paying for exes (including personally allegedly) in an earlier post.

LOL, Yuk-man would be our leading scorer.

I'm happy for the guy, I truly am. Sure he wasn't having the best season in his last one in Van, but I didn't think he was done and to be written off.

Well, lo and behold, he gets a ring and is still alive and kicking.

OEL went from a $29M Canuck contract to to a $19M buyout losing $10M

His Florida and now Toronto deals end up as $15M

+ a ring

OEL - Winning

No senior guys as far as I can tell, Benning, Green, Bruce, Ricky are all off the payroll

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Victor Mancini and G Nikita Tolopilo ⬇️ have been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL), D Elias Pettersson has been recalled from Abbotsford and G Jiri Patera ⬆️ has been recalled from Abbotsford under emergency conditions.
Patera? Just for backup in practice? Or is there something else going on with Lankinen?

Edit - fuck, I can't read sometimes... :D (thanks, Donnie for pointing out the obvious! :D )

I mean goalie for goalie right.

I'd be more concerned (read elated) had they kept Tolopilo up and recalled Patera....

Going to let other teams perforate Patera so they don’t ruin Tolopilo. Good move.

Bluegar and Chytil set to return.

Pleased about Bluegar, means he is tradeable and in the meantime is a serviceable centre. The tank should look more entertaining.

Chytil …I guess the upside case is that he is all done with concussions, like Sid The Kid who had a bunch and seemed like he would take the Eric Lindros exit but instead recovered and continues to play at a high level.

But it makes me sick thinking of him getting seriously permanently injured and for what? Just shut him down for the year my god

If Chuck comes back strong, perhaps he can be flipped out for a draft pick I’d someone wants a flyer on a center.

Just shut Chytil down for the season. We need a healthy tank as much as he needs a healthy noggin.

Poor guy should take a hint. At some point, the desire for a normal life has to outweigh the will to compete.
