General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Victor Mancini and G Nikita Tolopilo have been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL), D Elias Pettersson has been recalled from Abbotsford and G Jiri Patera has been recalled from Abbotsford under emergency conditions.

Patera? Just for backup in practice? Or is there something else going on with Lankinen?

Bluegar and Chytil set to return.

Pleased about Bluegar, means he is tradeable and in the meantime is a serviceable centre. The tank should look more entertaining.

Chytil …I guess the upside case is that he is all done with concussions, like Sid The Kid who had a bunch and seemed like he would take the Eric Lindros exit but instead recovered and continues to play at a high level.

But it makes me sick thinking of him getting seriously permanently injured and for what? Just shut him down for the year my god
