Time seems to move faster, now that we are older. It will also seem to move faster, now that they are travelling in a specific, rational direction, rather than aimlessly and reactively drifting.

And while it could well be 5 years or more before the plan matures, I predict that -- so long as they actually draft well, or get good young players back in the trades -- the team could be a lot more fun to watch in just 2 years.

I hope we're all still around, as well.

If so, there is no point in following or discussing the shit show.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Assuming this will not be a shit show because they have finally decided to do it is akin to thinking EP deserves his contract because he has blocked a few shots and scored a few goals.

Neither is true.

This is AIG.

They will fuck something up.

A win streak of more than 2 games will do it.

I think I'd still rather watch a badly executed good plan than a well-executed bad plan.

We'll see which yields more playoff wins.

What plan is in place means sweet fuck all if you have donkeys directing implementation and follow up.

We have donkeys.

This might just be our worst management team ever.

...and that is saying something.

Is JR just blurting out shit again like he's Grandpa Simpson? Why don't you just tell the guy behind closed doors that you want him gone?

Can't this mgmt group just do something constructive instead of weaving tales and yakking to the media through a megaphone?

Got 3 rings but turned this into a circus.

My god has this franchise had to coddle this kid.

Call me insensitive, but between Brock’s mental fragility, Pettersson’s delicate demeanour and Demko’s knarly knee, this teams core has the strength of a newborn fawn. The lack of team toughness is one thing, but the mental ineptitude of these pathetic spoon-fed Gen Zers is downright embarrassing.

Bunch of pussies representing this team.

No franchise players. A paltry THREE fuckin’ Canadians, zero truculence, no entertainment value, modest prospective youth in the system, incompetent ownership and a superannuated senior staff.

Other than that, I really like the way things are shaping up.
