Not for me though Picker.

Bring new blood in......clean house.....give the new guy total autonomy of construction.

Build a fucking solid, quality organization and team top to bottom and do it the right way.

It's time we stopped suckling at the tits of our past....

No more Delormes, Smyls, Lindens, Sedins...

Canuck Gods love them but they all failed.
That's going to be a tough sell, Donny. Mr Aquilini likes to rely on his alumni network. Garth Rizzuto bringing him coffee gives him a charge.
Hughes, Tocchet, Miller, and Horvat are all a bunch of quitters

I'm revising my expectations.....

Prez: Shane O'Brien
GM: Dan Hamhuis
A.GM 1: Jannik Hansen
A.GM 2: Max Lappierre

Coach: Manny Malhotra
A. Coach (PP): Mason Raymond
A. Coach (PK): Willie Mitchell

Special Advisors to all coaches and management: Hank n Dank (only because they told Frankie they didn't want to do all of those jobs themselves).

You think you could fit the Steamer and Bones Bromley in there somewhere, Mëds?

If you can, you have a deal. :D

It has always been Mr Aquilini and one faction of alumni or another running the team. Just throw it over to the alumni as a group and be done with it. We sink or swim with the alumni.

Retain $3.0M on EP and you would open up the number of teams interested in him. Also probably brings back a better package plus the team just moves on.

In a couple seasons you wouldn’t even notice the amount as the cap is going up a lot.

We have $4.7M of OEL this year and next, then his buyout drops to $2.1M for another three seasons.

That would be $7.7M of dead space then $5.1M of dead space. Not sure I like that. The return would have to be stellar. As I said somewhere else, $1.6M brings him down to an even $10M and doesn't move the cap needle overly much on our end, I'd be loathe to go more than $2M in retention.

The good thing with a rebuild is cap space doesn't matter as much as dead money won't be as crippling if at all, especially with cap gradually going up. On the books for the next 5 years, which hopefully takes us to the end of it... if all goes well.
