Should we draw straws for who is going to sacrifice themselves to the GDT Gods tomorrow?

Perhaps Russian Roulette more apt....
Do we have any Russians left?

We could sacrifice Klimovich.

Close enough and he's useless regardless.

...add Dahlins wife's heart transplant to key player missed time for that team.

Apparently Chytil is now skating in Vancouver.

:wow:

I wonder how likely it is we see him again this year. He seems like a high risk type for reinjury. Why not take the money and hit the beach

From Coach Foote:

-Forbort will still be out a while
-Höglander trending toward the 10 end of the original 8-10 week timeline. (About three weeks from now?)
-Teddy Blueger had a setback. Will hope to skate in a few days.
-Conor Garland is good to go.

Seems Demko could be done for the season. It's sad to read that and just not really care as I was pretty much expecting that.

Good contract extension guys.

Well played.

What's next up on your hit list for us fans?

That means Frankie can now have the old man add some salary and try and salvage the season

This was so predictable to me. He is making sure as best he can that he survives to his NMC kicks in. Would be nice if someone out there was willing to take a risk.

Back up to Carey Price in San Jose
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Better to have sold while it was still running.

Wow. I just re-read the last 2 months of this thread. It's still deja vu. Same guys either still hurt, or hurt again.

We need some bodies back so we can trade some dudes.

What I don’t understand here Wids is why a guy like him wouldn’t want to move on. The Canucks are not going to be winning anything for the next 3 seasons, wouldn’t a guy of Demko’s calibre want to try and go somewhere that is closer to playing meaningful hockey after Christmas?

Or do you think he’s just an entitled, silver spoon sucking, millennial, who is content to collect another $24M sitting on the LTIR list of a losing franchise and then roll the dice that a real team offers him something more than peanuts and a backup gig when he’s 33…..

The dude is an enigma.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
