Kid has wheels. I think he caught the Buffalo blueliners with the burst up the middle.

At least Hoglander can get his first game in during pre-season.

Just got back from the bowels...

Honestly, you can see why the Sabres organization is such a mess even with all their top picks over the years... they aren't very good and were outplayed most of the game by our plugs.

I thought Demko's movement was pretty good even with the rust. All three goals were in the high danger area, right in the slot. Him skating off on his own power after 3 periods is a win.

Hughes. What can you say? Every simple play is high quality and subtle. Just so many little plays that would have been buried by better players. Him and Garland, just night and day better than their teammates. No bad body language from these two that I could see.

I'm gonna miss them.

Brock on the other hand? Kid can't catch a break. I hope one day he finds the happiness he deserves. His loyalty is wasted. He seems already half checked out tonight.

Kane sucks. At this stage of his career, he could set an example for the young guys... but he won't. Even in remission, he is cancer.

How the hell did we sink this low? I don't know, but long live the tank.

Canucks quality scoring chances doesn’t reflect their shot totals. Yes they are out shooting some of their opponents while losing but this is not because of running into good goaltending, its the lack of “quality” in their scoring chances that is the problem, which is most likely due to the lack of having quality finishers in the forward group.

If we got points for hitting the goalie's crest, we'd be doing great.

Thankfully, it's a short experiment - unless they re-sign him...
