Re: 2026 NHL Draft
Looks like the USA prospects won both games against the CHL prospects. Is Canada officially now second fiddle to the Americans in todays hockey hierarchy?

Re: 2026 NHL Draft
Hey Chef Boi, is 2027 looking like another stellar year for the draft?
I see the scouts are already talking highly about the top 3 prospects.

Re: 2026 NHL Draft
If we keep screwing up the tank job this year, we'll probably end up dropping out of the top 10 and pick a massive reach like Caleb Malhotra to make his dad happy.
That would be so Canucks. Mushiocrity is the Mission.

Tynan Lawrence has been on fire, some are saying the centre could now go ahead of McKenna. This is the guy I hope the Canucks land on. Having him and Cootes pretty much sews up the middle of the ice for a long time.

Re: 2026 NHL Draft
If the season ended today the Canucks would be getting one of McKenna, Verhoeff, Stenberg or Lawrence. Will the hockey gods be kind to Vancouver, for once?

I find it amusing staring at the overall standings seeing the Canucks in dead last of the league, yet Rutherford cries “we are not rebuilding! We are going to stay competitive!”
Last place with one of the leagues worst prospect pools, as seen in recent rankings.
Yeah, Rutherford…you’re doing a real bang up job at that. Love the plan - The No Plan, Plan.

I thought you would be happy. YOU want the tank, well, its happening without any help from management, and you still want to bitch and complain.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 6:32 am I find it amusing staring at the overall standings seeing the Canucks in dead last of the league, yet Rutherford cries “we are not rebuilding!
