I don't think that's right regarding Woo. If a player is on a two-way deal and was on an NHL roster for less than 50 games the prior year, and they are injured prior to the opening season roster, their cap hit is prorated to the amount of time they were in the NHL last year. https://puckpedia.com/salary-cap/SOIRMadcombinepilot wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 6:32 pmYup. His and Woo’s (and Hogs) salaries all count against the cap, trimming cap accrual once the season starts.
Now with more excuses!5thhorseman wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 7:07 am That's shitty. Players returning part way through the season rarely hit it in full stride. Another meh season from Hogs incoming.
So, no easy NHL IR Money for him?UWSaint wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 11:08 amI don't think that's right regarding Woo. I think Woo got a call up last year but didn't see a game. Woo's on a two way.
