Erik Grönwall was the lead singer of the metal band H.E.A.T from 2010 till 2020. Then he was diagnosed with leukemia and quit the band. Had a bone marrow transplant and focused on recovering. Then out of the blue Skid Row called and asked him to front them, having seen a cover of 18 and life that he had done on youtube. Too good to turn down as they were his childhood heroes. He toured with them 2022-2024 and does the lead vocal on their 6th studio album, but touring was too harsh on his health and he quit in 2024 to just focus on staying healthy. Instead he goes into the studio and drops covers of songs every now and then. He's got a hell of a voice.
