Bob was legit in a business full of paparazzi level reporting.
He was one of the few authoritative voices in his (and TSN's) hockey telecast heyday. The thing I appreciated about him is that he wasn't a shameless Toronto-shill. His successors in the industry in Canada have devolved into cheerleading for whoever the company wants to promote.

Blake Price is absolutely triggered by Demko having not made himself available to the local media for an interview after signing his contract. Absolutely love this and hope the players continue giving the likes of Price the finger. They need a good bitch slapping, nothing but Karen’s, the whole lot of them.
I was reading some of his comments especially the one were Demko said he would have signed a 20 year deal if he could have. And he yaps ya well it might take 20 years for him to give an interview. lol
But Demko did do a TSN interview and that is national so sucked up . F’ing media.
HW not sure if you are aware but Vancouvers media is the fucking worse, it’s as bad if not worse than the Toronto media. I only give Halford and Brough a pass and maybe Satiar Shah a pass and that’s about it, the rest of them absolutely suck, a bunch of babies. Unfortunately Botchford created the new breed, the mentality, he was the king of the new goofs we see littering the waves. It’s going to take a couple decades to get rid of them.
I get a kick out of Don Taylor and old Yeller Dhaliwal as well. The yelling thing is a bit of a schtick I think but he mixes in moments of coherent speak between Tourette's style yelling fits at least
