I think originally he trained in Timra but the past 2 had switched to what was referred to (or inferred to) as an inferior, more laid back program somewhere in Stockholm.

Is it just me or does 11.6 need to stay here to train if he's going to be committed. Something about being out of sight in Sweden seems wrong.

Until he trains in such a manner that those writing the cheque, which includes us btw, yes, this we can agree on.

Still not sure, if the alleged story is true, but, if so, why he wouldn't jump on his captains offer to join him is odd. If only for a 2 week span.

Seems a great way to both enhance off season work AND quiet the masses.

Not everyone comes out of the gate a Crosby or a MacKinnon.

As a matter of fact it is well discussed that Nate flipped a switch early in his career with respect to diet, exercise and preparation.

Look at him, he's turned himself into a physical beast.

One of the things about MacKinnon that stands out, and this is a product of both natural genetics as well as dedicated development of those genes.....the below is a snippet of the article about why MacKinnon is special (the entire thing is worth the 5-10 minute read though imho).

Given the choice of Column A or Column B, somehow MacKinnon alone can order up both.

Nate has a very special gift, but the key takeaway is the work he put in to be consistent at the pro level.

Where did this supposed "offer" come from? As i recall, the end of season interviews included Quinn proclaiming Petey knows what he needs to do and has his own training plans.

Hughes old man runs a high performance training camp in Michigan every summer.

This is where the young Yankee group trains together that I listed names of earlier.

At year end meetings it was broadcast that Quinn had invited some teammates to join him there to which someone had reportedly declined.

I can't for the life of me recall where I heard or read it, one of the post season scrums maybe, not sure.
