Dhaliwal is an idiot. He is the most clueless POS in the local media.

Hey Petey, learn something from your country brethren on discipline, old man Sedins gave the Canucks whipper snapper prospects a 10 minute head start on the grouse grind and beat them all.

Speaking of the resigning of the 3 Americans to deals that extend beyond Hughes current contract, I'm surprised none of the media asked any of them if they had talked to Quinn about his long term plans to stay or leave at the end of his deal and if his answer influenced their decisions in any way?...
Poor Quinn, if Garland was 24/7 trying to pursuade Brock to resign I can't imagine the full press he will put on Hughes!....
Take care...

It’s not like he’ll do anything to convince Hughes to stay. It’s not like he’d name his son Quinn or something crazy like that…oh…hang on a second. He already did that, didn’t he.
Okay, Conor’s gonna do anything. Hughes gonna feel max pressure.

Conor said he named his son Quintin (Quinn for short) after Captain Quint from the Jaws movies, but we all know the truth and his true max pressure motivation.

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season
I was just thinking, our 3 current better Yankees players: Garly, Brockstar6 & Demmer were all excited and eager to stay here. EP40 was happy to commit here. A bunch of our newer guys were happy to lock up here: Hronek, M-Petey, Blankinen & Debrusk. Myzy one of our longer tenured vets was happy to take a pay cut to stay. Eastvander was excited to come here. The only guy who didn't want to be a part of this was the temperamental American who moved on to NY.rikster wrote: ↑Thu Jul 03, 2025 8:19 am Speaking of the resigning of the 3 Americans to deals that extend beyond Hughes current contract, I'm surprised none of the media asked any of them if they had talked to Quinn about his long term plans to stay or leave...

Well, it's their team now. Mgmt put their faith in these guys, so time to put up or shut up. I don't think anyone expects a Cup contender anytime soon, but with the money the franchises is paying these guys, it's time to pull out a trio of consecutive playoff births minimum. One would think the performance of the team in the next couple years (success or lack of it) will determine whether our top remaining Yankee and captain will decide to extend here.

You must be at least on the elders table at the Cap Reserve.
If I had your money I'd burn mine.
