If they want to ensure the (supposed) nuclear threat is neutralized then they have to invade. There's no evidence the bunker busters worked.

It's gonna be standoff missile exchanges to the bitter end, I think. Trump may have taken 235 billion from the zionist lobby but I don't think that buys a draft, and they would need one from what I'm hearing to launch a land invasion.

When the US went into Iraq, they flattened them in 30 days. Iran has few allies, if any of consequence. China relies on them for energy, however if the US and Israel give China guarantees of continued supply after any war, China will sit tight and let things happen. Russia has already withdrawn from Iran. The Iranian capacity to retaliate has been severely reduced. Israel has taken out many key leaders in what is being called a brilliantly planned offensive.
This war would quickly be over and become a manhunt in the desert.....similar to chasing Bin Laden, but I think more efficient.

It's a completely different animal than Libya, Syria, Iraq etc. It's a massive, mountainous country three times larger than Ukraine and with triple the population, and it has been preparing for war with the US for years. China and Russia will help, how, I'm not sure. But Iran is crucial to both China's Belt and Road and Russia's North-South Corridor. If Iran were to fall, BRICS would be finished, and I'm sure that's the plan. I think the US will use proxies in the Iranian minority separatist communities, as well as a crazy Iranian terrorist organization it controls that is currently chilling in Albania, whose name escapes me. Rot the foundation from the inside, and then watch the house collapse under its weight.
I'm ruling out a land invasion, but I'll be happy to eat my hat if I'm wrong.
@Mëds - China will laugh off any 'trust me, bro' guarantees from the US to supply oil. They are buying a lot of their oil from Iran currently, and if that were to cease, they would most assuredly turn to their ally Russia, not to their enemy.
Iran will close off the Straight of Hormuz and crash the world economy before they ever get close to surrendering btw.

I figured it's must all be relative right? They all have hookah pipes with hoses to smoke hash on the floor (we can only assume it's so when they tip over from hooting too much hash it's a soft landing)
