Definitely interesting times.

I don't think WW3 happens without Russia and China.

Russia withdrew military personnel from Iran 2 days ago after Putin and Trump had a conversation. As much as Russia has always used Iran as a proxy to mess with the US, they know full well that a nuclear powered Iran is a threat to everyone.....and that they are a helluvalot closer to that murderously insane regime than the US is.

China doesn't want a full out war because it's bad for business in the long-term. If the nuclear powers get sucked into a global conflict it's game over. And they know it. You may have a conventional war, but it will likely be confined to the middle-east and SE Europe and NW Asia. I suspect China would use it as an excuse to exterminate the Uyghur Muslims, and maybe finally annex a couple of the surrounding countries that are not locked in allies of the US like South Korea or Japan.

Maybe we see the redrawing of a bunch of borders and instead of countries we have continental states.

BTW Putin stated at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum the other day that Iran had just refused a mutual security treaty with Russia, and another one that would have included China. This was allegedly just days before the attack by the Israelis. :D
