I’d have sent a coiler.

Stumbled into the ASL broadcast. No commentary, just crowd noise, who's on the ice, and 2 guys on the side talking with their hands.

The Oilers are the Leaves of the west.

No game can be considered great if they come out on top.

Now you retract that you filthy whore.

That was an excellent game to watch. Two best teams. Give me six more games of that.

I watched the 2010 Olympic Final like that recently. It feels like you are at the game if you have a decent screen.

I think my TV is due for a jug of water down the back of it. I torched a couple tvs like that back in the day. I remember thinking this 36 inch Sony Trinitron was a solid tube. Regardless of the fact that I needed to hire a few apes to jam it in my house. Then plasma and LCD became a thing. I suggested to my wife that we needed a better screen. She says when that one breaks we will get a new one. I googled how to ruin a tv. Sinister prick....put coveralls and a dust mask when it fried the tube and dragged it to the dump. Came home with a plasma to be like the cool kids.

Its neat to just hear the sounds, the whistles, puck being shot, the hits and the players skating.instead of some assholes trying to educate the dummy fans about the game. I like CCM Tacks and white boards too.

With the extra stuff, it was like watching the game on a 50" vs the full 65" - I enjoyed the lack of idiot TNT commentary, but did find myself drifting at times. Still no idea how I got into it - the link to the regular broadcast took me to it. :/

Blobbie, I'll send you a case of Prairies pilsner. You can drink them, or throw them at your old TV. Anything to help a buddy out.
