Exactly, no need to go BPA if a centre is what you desperately need.

There are always plenty of draft day deals on the table to trade up/down.
Like when they picked Olaf instead of MT.
I think you missed the point there Blobert.

I think we can all agree that big top 6 forwards are at the top of the list.
The depth is slowly building, but yes, there are alot of needs

I would suggest that finding middle to bottom six forwards is much, much easier than finding top 6 thoroughbred horses, in which we have absolutely zilch in…unless the ever so aloof Pettersson starts caring some, even so, you need at least 3 studs in the top 6. It’s a mess there, and not easy to fix. But yay for our bottom 6…I guess.

You know what? Pettersson used to rock a cotton candy combover a bit like Trump has. Once he shaved his melon he was powerless

He needs the fluff back

Figures he'd drop the combover when he gets here.

Some interesting combovers coming out of Sweden.

Exactly. If management is going to bomb the pick, I would rather they bombed with the top player on their draft board instead of the top player at the position they wanted - or the player the owner foisted upon management to pick.
Lancer and I get it.

Point was: You can select the BPA after trading up/down in the draft

... AND get a guy who plays the position you're looking for.

That didn't happen with Olaf/MT at the 2016 draft...

I can’t believe we are still talking about Juolevi. “It’s not 2016, anymore.” - John Torterella

Are the Islanders fans still talking about Michael Dal Colle?

So maybe Foote over Tocc and Manny is a good thing? The brass could use some flow while we’re at it...their follicles sparse as draft picks.
